Delete your Bizim Yuva account

Delete in the app

1. Open Bizim Yuva and go to Settings (Ayarlar), the gear icon on the “Biz” tab.
2. Tap Data & privacy → Delete my account (Veri ve gizlilik → Hesabımı sil).
3. Read what will happen, then confirm with your password or by signing in with Apple or Google again. If you use the app without an account, type “SİL” to confirm.

Delete without the app

If you can't use the app, email kvkk@bizimyuva.tr from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm the request by email and complete it within 30 days.

Accounts used without registering (guest accounts) can only be deleted in the app, because we can't otherwise confirm they are yours.

What happens next

• Registered accounts have a 30-day waiting period. You are signed out on every device. During those 30 days you can still sign in to read and export your data, and you can cancel the deletion. After that, your data is deleted permanently within about a day. We email you when the deletion is scheduled, 7 days and 1 day before it, and when it is complete.
• Guest accounts are deleted at once and erased within 7 days.
• Any web invitation page you published closes immediately and its RSVP links stop working.

Your partner and shared data

• If you are paired, your personal account data (name, email, birth date, photo, sign-in details, devices) is deleted. The plans you share as a couple — lists, budget, special days, guests, gifts and photos — stay with your partner, shown as from a “former member”. Love notes and memories you wrote also stay with your partner, unless you choose to delete them during deletion.
• If you use Bizim Yuva on your own, everything is deleted, including your photos.

What is kept, and for how long

• Backups: your data disappears from backups within 30 days.
• Server logs: kept for 365 days, with shortened (masked) IP addresses.
• Consent and acceptance records: kept as long as the law requires us to be able to prove them.
• Support messages: kept for 2 years, no longer linked to your account.
• Analytics: we ask our analytics provider to delete the data linked to your account.

Other options

• Start fresh but keep your account: Settings → Storage → Reset data (Ayarlar → Depolama → Verileri sıfırla) deletes all or part of your plans. Deleted items stay in the trash for 30 days. This affects both partners.
• Keep a copy first: export your data (JSON) from Settings → Data & privacy (Ayarlar → Veri ve gizlilik); the download link is valid for 7 days.
